Charles Brownridge
General Manager
Charlie’s career and experience is vast & varied. Before joining Spindlewood he held senior Sales & Operational positions within Avery Weightronix and Chubb two global market leaders in their respective industries – weighing solutions and electronic security.

- Avery Weightronix: National Contact & Technical Centre Manager 1992 – 1997
- Avery Weightonix: Sales Manager 1997 – 2001
- Chubb Electronic Security: Sales Manager 2001 – 2003
Charlie joined Spindlewood in 2003 and headed up the Sales & Service function for the business quickly establishing some long-term contracts and implementing critical operational procedures.
Charlie was appointed to the board of Directors in 2005 and then to the position of Commercial Director in 2009 with responsibility for all financial, sales and marketting of the business.
In 2009 Charlie identified & executed the aquisition of CBA and then successfully managed all financial concerns and ensured all procedures across both organisations were consolidated efficiently.
In 2013 he was appointed Managing Director with overall responsibility for the business as it continues to achieve year on year growth and profit in a very demanding delivery focused industries.

Peter Carver
Operations Manager
Peter founded Spindlewood Ltd a CCTV and electronic security systems business in 2002. Initially based in Weston Super Mare, Somerset. Peter soon relocated the company to West Yorkshire where the company expanded.
From 2002, Peter led Spindlewood as Managing Director until the acquisition of CBA in early 2010. During this time, he built a strong reputation for meeting demanding deadlines within the event and construction industry. Although a Director, Peter continues to hold an active on-site role within the company whilst still having overall responsibility for the operational side of the business.

Vicky Lee
Financial Controller
Vicky has been working in the accountancy world since leaving school in 2013. She started her career as an apprentice with a local accounting practice, where she worked her way up to an assistant manager role. She gained her AAT qualification in 2016, and then went on to work towards her professional accounting qualifications, which she has now nearly completed.
Vicky joined Spindlewood in 2019, where she became financial controller and hopes to help the company grow and move forward with new financial innovations and efficiencies.

Jordan Davis
General Manager
Jordan has many strings to his bow when it comes to working at Spindlewood. With a strong background in lighting and sound at events he is vastly experienced within the events industry. Always interested in technology; he’s taken that thirst for knowledge to his current role where he’s responsibly for the configurement of IT, CCTV, telecom equipment amongst other important areas. He’s a key cog in the operations of the warehouse and projects as the network manager.

Dean Gottsch
Senior Project Manager
Dean is a Postgraduate Student after four years at Birmingham City University, achieving a first class honours degree in Computer Networking in 2015. He was recently promoted to Project Manager at Spindlewood after being with the company for two years. Dean’s main responsibilities are to oversee planning including site surveys and installation of projects.
Dean also monitors and maintains the sites networks during event days.

Peter Reveley
Project Manager
Served 8 years in the Royal Signals as a Radio Technician, deployed to Bosnia & Iraq, Joined Spindlewood in Oct 2009.
Responsible for the repair, maintenance and development of CCTV & IT equipment within Spindlewood.
Employed as a Project Manager to manage CCTV & IT deployments throughout the UK.

Mike Kirwin
Project Manager
Mike joined Spindlewood at the start of 2017, bringing a wealth of experience from the music, events and broadcast sectors. He was a prominent figure in the Manchester music scene, toured extensively as a DJ and artist, ran a post production facility and has 10 years experience of delivering connectivity services to the events sector.

Mark Shaw
Project Manager
Marks career started with 8 years in the Royal Navy where he maintained and repaired weapons systems fitted to fixes and rotary wing aircraft. He then when on to run and develop the business of an electrical contracting firm. After this Mark moved to Telindus where worked as a network engineer.
Mark Joined Spindlewood in 2013 and bought with him over 15 years’ experience deploying and managing large corporate networks. Marks entry into the event world was somewhat of a departure to his previous roles but he embraced the challenge and has become an valuable member of the team.
Marks main responsibilities have been to project manage key areas of large festivals such as Glastonbury and rapidly expanding events including the Boomtown Fair.
